POWERHOUSE
$20.00
POWERHOUSE deck = 50 cards in deck + 3 outlier cards
The POWERHOUSE is a good deck for beginners. It deals with simple concepts like grabbing and slamming, punching and throwing heavy things so it is easy to understand.
The damage output is mid to high. When they hit you, they hurt you, there’s no question about that.
The defense on the other hand, is low. Defense cards are far and few between and no cards avoid damage altogether, they just stop a certain amount of it (sometimes only 1 point).
The Critical Effect special ability puts a nice accent on those powerful hits and can potentially be used every time you hit someone, which is nice.
When deck-building, you may want to go for all grappling cards or all striking or all projectile cards or maybe a mix of two.
Overall this deck has a high damage output like no other. Has a variety of different kinds of attacks and always has the chance for extra effects thanks to the special ability. The rating would be very good if not for the low defense. This deck receives a rating of good.

Ok, lets get somethin’ straight, ain’t nobody stronger than me! Not that Elemental Jackhole or that Speedster Freak! I don’t know what that Gunslinger dude is tryin’ to do but his bullets just tickle me. I mean he shoots bullets, so what? I THROW TRUCKS! The Elemental Master can fly? Big deal, everybody flies when I punch ’em!
THESE GUYS DON’T COMPARE TO ME! I’m in a whole other league. I’m more durable than any of ’em and I’m stronger than all of them put together! It’s no contest. Check it out, if the bad guys are hidin’ in a house, I can bring the house down on there heads. Now who else do that? If I got a gang of them shootin’ at me, I can tear up the street and use a chunk of it as a shield. Can’t nobody else do that. If somebody is really getting on my nerves, I can kick them so hard, they land in the next county over. C’MON PEOPLE! Are we pickin’ people to play duck-duck-goose or are we pickin’ SOLDIERS?
Look, if you wanna pass notes in class or walk a granny across the street or build sandcastles on the beach, then get one of those other guys. I’m sure they could help you out. But when things go sideways and the crap hits the fan, your gonna wish you had a POWERHOUSE!
