ALIEN

Man, there is a ton to love about this deck! First of all, the pop culture references. It’s got glowing sabers like Star Wars, alien tech for hunting prey like in Predator, crystal technology like in Superman. It’s got vehicles that transform into other things (Power Rangers, Voltron, Transformers), it’s even got an ability called ‘Xenomorphic Parasite’ that hugs your face! Second, there is some really good synergy between the cards. The crystals are a great example of this. All crystals have base abilities but you can also combine different color crystals to make more powerful crystals with more usage and more abilities. Also, all crystals can combine with any alien tech item to add to that items usage. This deck is also, in my opinion, the most humorous of all the decks. there’s gross-out humor (like ‘Liquid Fart’), there’s situational humor (like ‘Shotgun Wedding’) and ‘I didn’t expect that ‘ humor (like ‘Alien Thug’). These cards can be really fun to act out. The defenses are good and there is about a medium amount of them, but the crazy thing is the Alien has several different ways to heal! There is also a ton of assorted attacks from throwing-up or bleeding on foes to using crystals or tech weapons to damage and cause effects, slicing allies on foes, hitting them with bio-weapons or ‘Alien Microbes’ or even using general alien abilities to deliver a ‘Galactic Beatdown’. If this deck seems to good to be true well…it does have a fatal flaw. This deck is so all-over-the-place it lacks focus. Most times you wont have the cards you want to sync with in your hand, and sadly, this deck doesn’t have ways to gain specific cards. That’s why it’s almost a sin not to deckbuild with this deck. Honestly, this would be the best deck in the game but the lack of focus really hurts this decks functionality. I want to give it a rating of GREAT so bad but…unless you deckbuild, it’s probably only going to be GOOD.
